Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hi, I’m Jaimee.

If you are feeling stuck or exhausted from holding it all together, know that reaching out is the bravest part. We can work through high-stress roles, body or identity shifts, and the heavy weight of life expectations.

My style is warm, down-to-earth, honest, and practical. We will focus on understanding your nervous system and building tools that help you feel more like yourself again.

Virtual therapy across Canada. Based in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia.

I may be the right therapist for you if…

You perform well in your professional life but feel depleted in your personal life.

Anxiety leaves you feeling hollow, on edge, or unable to turn off even when you are safe.

You want someone who understands high-pressure environments without needing the jargon explained.

You have started isolating or losing interest in things and want to find your way back to yourself.

You value a private, non-judgmental place where you can be honest about how you are really doing.

Experience that shapes how I understand your world.

High-stress careers

More than 20 years in corrections and emergency response gave me first-hand insight into occupational stress, CISM, trauma, leadership pressure, and the strain carried by first responders.

Athletics and leadership

I owned a competitive cheer, gymnastics, and parkour gym for nine years. I am also a boxing judge and referee, so I understand the worlds of athletes, coaches, officials, entrepreneurs, and performance pressure.

Body and identity transitions

My personal experience with bariatric surgery informs a compassionate understanding of medical language, body image, food relationships, identity changes, and societal pressure.

How therapy can feel

Seen, respected, and equipped.

You can expect your reactions to be understood in context. You do not have to be perfect, justify your feelings, or carry everything alone. My goal is to offer a private place where you feel heard and leave with useful ways to reconnect with yourself and your life.

My approach

Therapy fitted to the person.

I draw from several evidence-informed approaches rather than forcing every client into one method. We will choose what fits your goals, preferences, experiences, and pace.

Therapeutic approaches

You do not need to know which approach you need. These are tools I may draw from, and I will explain why something could help before we use it.
